Available versions:

512KB (512KB of RAM installed on-board):

Add 512KB of SLOW RAM. It is compatible with all revisions of the Amiga 500 motherboard. The board is connected into the trapdoor bay. The on-board Real Time Clock is available as option.

Additionally, 512KB of RAM may be added as CHIP RAM instead of SLOW RAM. Please note to enable 1MB of CHIP RAM function, the Agnus 8372 is required, and also a modification have to be made on the Amiga 500 motherboard (it is a easy task but soldering soldering skills are required). Necessary components and instructions to make this modification are included. 

2MB (2MB of RAM installed on-board):

Add 1.5MB of SLOW RAM in Amiga 500 motherboards revision 5 and 6A. This version includes a board that connects to the trapdoor bay, and also a Gary adapter that fits on the Gary custom chip socket. The on-board Real Time Clock is available as option.

Amiga 500 motherboard Revision 3 needs a fix (this is an easy task, but soldering skills are required). Necessary components and instruction to make this fix are included. 

Additionally to the 1.5MB of SLOW RAM, a jumper on the board is available in order to add 512KB of extra CHIP RAM (for a total of 2MB of extra memory). Please note to enable this function (1MB of CHIP RAM), the Agnus 8372 is required, and also a modification have to be made on the Amiga 500 motherboard (this is a easy task but soldering skills are required). Necessary cable and instructions to make this modification are included. 

Features of the 512KB version:

• Add 1,5MB of SLOW memory without additional modifications on Amiga 500 motherboards revisions 5 and 6A.
• Connection through the trapdoor expansion and the Gary socket. You will need to open your Amiga.
• Compatible with Amiga 500 motherboards revision 5 and 6A.
• Amiga 500 revision 3 needs a fix (soldering tasks are required, components and instructions included).
• Possibility of adding 512KB of additional CHIP memory for a total 2MB of extra RAM (soldering tasks are required, components and instructions included).

Briefly summarizing:

• 512KB version is compatible with all Amiga 500 motherboards revisions. An Agnus 8372 or higher and modifications are only necessary if you want to use this memory as CHIP RAM.
• 2MB version is compatible with Amiga 500 motherboards revision 5 and 6A, but revision 3 needs a fix. You get 1.5MB of SLOW RAM. Only in case you want to obtain 512KB of extra CHIP RAM, additional modifications are required.
