Ultrasatan Mini

Ultrasatan Mini is a hard disk replacement for Atari 16Bit computers. Compatible with the external ACSI port of Atari ST/STE/MEGA ST/STE /TT. It connects directly to the Atari ACSI port and not additional cables are necessary.

Important notes:

• Connection data cable NOT NEEDED - plugs directly to ACSI PORT.
• MicroUSB power connector (5V needed only) - mobile phone charger needed.
• Possible powering device from ATARI directly.
• Device has been tested with a lot of different models of SD Cards, and should works properly with all SD Cards present on the market. Unfortunately there are lots of fake/bad flash medias (SD Cards/CF Cards/USB keys...) on the market. So we recommend you to care about the SD Card selection and also choose a good provider. To ensure you the best experience with our products and avoid issues with fake/bad SD Cards we have decided to offer you a selection of tested and certified working SD Cards. These cards are available as option on this page.

Technical details:

• MicroUSB power supply ( any mobile phone power charger will work) 
• Connects to external ACSI port of Atari 16bit
• Supports MMC, SD and SDHC cards - tested with cards from 16 MB to 8 GB and works OK on ST
• Drivers: ICD PRO (free),  HDDRIVER (commercial) and PeraPutnik (commercial) compatible.
• You can change the INQUIRY name of device (the string that shows when hard disk driver shows the currently connected ACSI devices)

Some Atari STe have faulty DMA chips, making SD cards not usuable after write operations. Please, follow this guide to check it.
