ZuluSCSI emulates a SCSI-I or SCSI-2 hard drive using an SD memory card. Each ZuluSCSI purchase includes a fully assembled and tested circuit board, ready for use. It is a new generation of file-based SCSI HDD & CD-ROM emulators, and represents a fusion of SCSI2SD V5, V6, and BlueSCSI. Hard drive and CD-ROM drive images are stored on a standard FAT32 or exFAT-formatted SD card. New RP2040 version supports synchronous and asynchronous transfer modes with read speeds up to eight megabytes/second. A SCSI controller with FAST SCSI and synchronous mode is required to achieve maximum speeds.

ZuluSCSI

Features:

• Read/Write speed: up to 8Mb/s
• Supports synchronous and asynchronous transfer modes
• Powered by the Raspberry Pi Foundation's RP2040 microcontroller, a dual-core 133MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ processor
• SCSI Termination is DIP-switch controlled
• Emulates up to 7 SCSI devices simultaneously, including CD-ROM
• Firmware upgrade simplicity; As easy as placing a file on the SD card
• Firmware recovery mechanism provided

• 74LVTH125 SCSI bus transceivers, as used in SCSI2SD V5 and SCSI2SD V6 Rev F
• SCSI command implementations are from SCSI2SD
• Uses the same SCSI command handling code as SCSI2SD V6, compatibility with nearly all devices that speak both SCSI-1 and SCSI-2 is extremely high
